Dear All
I'm looking for a Dodge Halfton Sterring wheel in black bakerlight to fit my WC15 Command Car, just wondered if anyone had one they would like to sell.
Many thanks

All 1/2 ton steering wheels were black from the factory.

Are the reproduction WC 1/2 ton steering wheels sold by VPW a nice representation of an original? I will eventually need one, but don't need one right now to spend $470...so many other targets on the radar at the moment. However, I know the NOS ones are becoming extremely rare.

Has anyone purchased this reproduction steering wheel that can comment?:

I got one from VPW 4 or 5 years ago, I believe it is the same one in the ad. It is slightly larger in diameter than the original but it looks close to original and fits well. I was quite satisfied.

That sounds great. None of my vehicles are "show" worthy, so I think that would be a way to go if an affordable NOS one doesn't appear at a reasonable price in the next year or so.

Thanks for the info. Russ. I appreciate it.

Bought one as well from VPW. Quite satisfied and my truck is not a concours but an enjoyable ride.

My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.

I have a crappy used one, with the stub of the steering column stuck in the center(the smaller dia. tube- not right for a WC-51, but I believe correct for the earlier one), and which needs restoration- has the usual cracks, and is black bakalite. I'd be willing to part with it for $50 plus $15 (in USA) shipping, or make me an offer... I think I have $50 in it, but would like it to go to a new home...
