Found this WW2 Chevy Auger in Minnesota Craigslist, "not mine" just passing it along. Looks to be very Complete.

Nice looking truck, and has many of the often missing bits. i am not too sure about the service body being original though. I've looked through a number of photos of original trucks, and have not found one that looks like this one. Seems to be missing storage compartments, etc.
Added later... after more research, the body is likely original, but has had the storage beneath the bed removed. It does still have the round opening in the passenger side of the box for attaching the wire spools to the winch shaft. It also appears to have the brackets for, but not the rear stabilizers below the back edge of the bed.

Hmm,
That coil spring sure looks like the ones some one put on top of the front leaf springs on my G506 w/winch. I'd be interested in a close up pic, and maybe some dimensions to see if that's what mine are... I was going to scrap them too...

It sure weighs more, I put mine on a scale with al the heads in place and it weighs 5500kg / 12125lbs
