Identification spare wheel thingy??

Dont know how its called.
My 1/2 ton had one with the DPCD logo.
My Command Car has this one.
Is it correct??

That is not like either of mine. It might be WW2 for a different vehicle rather than a Dodge but I suspect it is post was M series.

Used on M37, M42, M43 and M201 (V-41/GT) through vehicle serial No. 80019180. Ref: ORD 9 SNL G-741 (Jan., 1954)
I don't know if there were other applications.

That same part number is listed in the July 1, 1943 Dodge Master Parts List G-657 and the illustration seems to be the same item. The same part number is also listed in the ORD 9 G-507 (WC-62/63) but is not illustrated.

Wait a minute....I think I got the master parts list when I got the CC. Will have to check!

No, I got the (copy) ordnance supply catalog. TM 9-808. Ord 9 snl G-502.
Couldn't find it (yet) in there.
