Hello Tony,

Don't know her history. I have bought the Dodge in Holland , but the papers told me that she's from Greece.
The engine and drivetrain where first class, but the rear body was a complete mess.
The wooden frame under the sheetmetal was complete gone. So whe had to make a complete new wooden frame for both sides and also new sheetmetal for the front and both sides. The whole roofsection was good.
Whe also had to make new rear doors.
If you find pictures of WC64 in action,i am always interested 8)

Keep up the good work
Eric

H i Bert I will have a look there is a RAMC museum, maybe they have one. or the Glouster museum? I'm at the Woolwich arsenal this Saturday so I'll nose about see who knows what. I also own a Land Rover 101 ambulance and have been left a WC54 in a will, BUT I don't want that for a while, so I am becoming more intersetd in ambulances. If I win the lottery I'd like a full British Army set :D

Both are very nice indeed! Gives me something to shoot for or at least to try to come close to 8)
Am in the final stages of getting my rear brakes done. This started out as a replacement of the right wheel cylinder and has turned into a total redo of the rear brakes. Both wheel cylinders, pads, bearings, seals. But I did get to clean off about 30 years of crud off the brakes drums yesterday. Always a fun job :x
But they do look so very nice when they are clean and repainted! Hoping to get the beast back first of next week. Keeping fingers crossed

At least with a Dodge you can fix things, I know a guy eho paid £80,000 for a brand new Porche that wouldn't run right. He kept taking it back to the dealer, they told him was fine. Eventually someone Porche came over from Germany and diagnosed the problem. The dealer did not have the upto date computer diagnostic program! :D

I found 2 wc 64s on the east coast of the US. They are owned by a reenactor who is planning on restoring one. Are there anymore in the US

Hi Frédéric:

Again, GREAT WORK! I noticed you have a piece on the cab cover that I assume is supposed to represent where the door sections were stored when not in use. Now I have only seen this set up on 1 truck (a WC 63 resto) since I've been involved with these trucks. Do you (or anyone else out there) have any pictures of the actual useage of this set up from back in the day? :?

Thanks
