The blank buildcard is VERY nice! Thanks a lot for that Brent.
If you agree I would be happy to add it to the build card compilation, too?

Cheers
Sylvia

You are VERY welcome Sylvia. Kudo's to you and Divingrocks for taking on these database projects.

Brent, I really like the blank card too. I am going to replicate my card and put it in the glove box of my ambulance.

Brent,

I couldn't wait to play with the Build Card.
Although I still have to figure out how to punch the holes, and add some numbers I accidently missed putting in on this my first attempt, here are the results. I printed this on a manila file folder. It will be so cool to hand this to a visitor and tell them the story about the build cards. I keep a
Drivers Handbook, replica Army Drivers License and Accident report in the glove box. I also have a comb and brown glass hypodermic bottle that I found behind the walls during the restoration. Makes for interesting conversation.

thats brilliant mate! Hopefully I will have build cards for both of ours in the coming days so being able to have a repro in the trucks will be excellent!

Hi Kiwi.

Being a computor 'Numpty' and quiet capable e mailing far away galaxies whilst trying to e mail my mate round the the corner how do I/can I print off the blank build card. I suppose I could draw one up on AutoCad but being an idle bar steward and not knowing the dimensions of it I would like to use the one you have produced. I should add hastily that I will NOT run off thousands and sell them. Greg asked how to replicate the holes. Use either a leather punch tool but you need the ones with a deep jaw or a suitable size wad punch. See I know how to do that because it's easy!!

Phil,

Right click with your mouse while your cursor is on the blank card on Brents original posting of the picture. A menu will appear and you should select "Save picture as" another window will open and I would suggest you place it on your desktop.

What I did was open the image with Microsoft Paint. The font I used is titled 1942. It is a font that replicates a 1940's typewriter. I then highlighted the areas where I wanted to replicate the numbers from my original card and placed them on the photo. I printed the card on a plain Manila folder that I had cut down to 8.5 X 11" then I penciled in the written numbers.

I think the best bet for the holes will be a 1/8" single punch for leather. I have a punch but it is 1/4" which is too big. I will have to go by the leather store in town next time I'm out.

If you have any problems with filling in the image send me a PM and I will help you.

Thanks Greg. I'm just going round to the stationers for some manilla card via the chemist for something to relax me first. I can do AutoCad because I've done it for years but the other prating about does my head in!

Hi Greg.

Sorry about doing another posting but before I set off I clicked on the pic and up came a whole menu including 'PRINT' so I clicked on it and it printed with no drama. It's now saved in My Pictures because that was on the same drop down menu. 8)

I don't need to divert to the chemist.

Thanks again Greg.

I have spent most of this morning typing in the data card with my 1951 Underwood typewriter. It looks the mutts nuts, the card not the typewriter. So top marks there Greg. I haven't actually got the original build card but this was just a quick play using the info I have. All I have to do now is track down a date stamp that will do 1942 and of course the build card. Sorry to do another posting but I'm so excited

An observation.

From Buil Car, Florence has, in the section Body Model with T-214 engine, there are:

19 ...+- 19 units
29 ... 3 u.
86 ... 2 u.
49 ... 1 u.
66...+- 29 u.
39 ... 4 u.

And with T-223 engine
96 ... 1 u.

I have read that number 90 is for wc-51 and wc-52.

I have read that the number 70 and / or 96 is for wc-62 and wc-63.

In B.C. Florence can not find the number 90 as model body, but the number 66 is the largest. As we all know, half of the models to wc-51-64 KD that manufactured were wc-51 and 52.
Logically the number 66 must be wc-51 and 52 and not 90.

In another forum I copied the following:

WC-52
Image

Together with B.C. he received a plane:
Image

Attention. On the plane gets body 4266 and not 4290.

What is your opinion on the No 90 or 66?.
