Hello Juan,

yes the body tag - small tag on the body, underneath the hood on open caps - shows the Body No.

Just an idea ...

Maybe we can make this thread sticky?

Of course I would gladly direct link all the cards here BUT as the forum software cuts the pictures at ca. 600 px the cards would be cut at the right hand side as they are 710 px wide. If I shrink them to 600 px they are too small to clearly read the data. :roll:

one example of the 710 px cut pictures:

Sylvia, I took the liberty of putting a link to your website on my already sticky database post. I'll add one directly to the build card portion and maybe this topic too. let me know what you think

Hi Rocks,
thanks for the link to command-car.com!

Another link to the build cards would be nice, too :thumbup:

However I think a sticky extra post might be fine, too as I think not everybody knows that a build card can be ordered by everyone.

Kindest regards
Sylvia

Sure about the 70 and 50?
Where did you get information about?

There is one card (12 Sep 1944) showing Body model 96 which is send to me as WC 63 :roll:

Any more info out there from WC64 and WC62/63 owners :?:

Hi Sylvia...O yea of little faith!
I forget who I got the 64 info from, but it can probably be found in my database post somewhere. Rgus has a build card for his 63 and the proper nomenclature for a 55 is "gun motor carriage" I think.

I added the "gun motor carriage" and under reserve the 70 and 50

Body Model Numbers:

10 = Flat faced cowl
12 = Closed cab
13 = Panel Van (also first hand-converted VC6 Carryalls)
19 = Reconnaissance (Command Car)
29 = Radio Reconnaissance (Radio Command Car)
39 = Ambulance
49 = Carryall
56 = Closed cab (half ton)
62 = Closed cab
66 = Express body with transverse rear seats
76 = Express body with no rearseats
86 = Gun motor carriage
90 = Flat faced cowl with bucket seats

under reserve and still confirmable:
70 and/or 96 for 6x6 chassis (WC62 & 63) ?
50 for KD Ambulance Chassis (WC64) ?

Cheers

Florence,

Here is a link to a copy of my "Build Card" for your database.
Apparently the file is to big to send thru the forum. I also tried to send it via PM to you but I don't think it went through.

I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread Sylvia.

I made this blank buildcard up a wee while ago.
I thought it would be cool to take to shows without compromising the 'original' photocopy.
print on card, fill it out, voila.

Thanks for the card Greg!

The blank buildcard is VERY nice! Thanks a lot for that Brent.
If you agree I would be happy to add it to the build card compilation, too?

Cheers
