Typical that you can't see the hood numbers....

I'm seeing the distinctive battery box, and extra ( Voltmeters? ) on the dash panel?

They look like the same type of center gauges that the WC8 uses.
Voltmeter and ampmeter
I have never seen a picture of a VC2 until this one.
Same battery box as later
I wonder of it has the shielded ignition?

It was all shielded Ernie.

I remember seeing an original VC 2 taillight at Jaap's, and it had radio shielding mesh over the cable to the taillight.

Other differences, I think it was something like a 12 volt system with 8 volts tapped off for the radios, and I've sure it was negative earth and not positive earth like the others.

I'd guess many of the bits were just slightly different to the VC 1
