Post by RANGER »

The Army taught us that when we removed the Wheels and Tires from a vehicle, and placed it on jacks, to stack the Wheels and Tires under the chassis of the vehicle for SAFETY.

The CCKW and Chevrolet Hood (Bonnet) is an accident waiting to happen when in the open position. A gust of wind can unlatch the hood. If you will notice, there is a small hole at the midpoint of the slides of the hood prop. A bolt, Nail, or the handle of the radiator pressure cap inserted thru that hole will ensure your safety.
