Ernie, that's me, I sent you a PM with the details. Here's more info on the truck: the frame number is : 8441783 the body tag is: 4062-2596 The glove box door is from a WC-10 so it does not have the correct data plate.
The biggest negative is that it has the wrong engine, a 1950's D42 Dodge car engine instead of a T-202 but the car engine does produce 103 HP and is still a 230 cid so it looks ok. It has almost no rust, just a small area in the lower passenger door where water must have puddled over the years. Windshield frame is rusted as usual. The bed had a homemade cover over and a piece of sheetmetal screwed over the original wood bed. From what I can see the wood actually looks good and might be salvageable. It has all 5 correct rims.Interior seat bottom has the original brown vinyl, seat back has canvas. The shift lever is missing for the 4 wheel drive, but everything else is there. The bumperettes are there but have a steel step bolted/welded on, easily removed. The correct reflectors are missing. The majority of work on this restoration will be sandblasting, priming ,painting, very little body work needed.

Hi Troy
Congrats on the truck.
The frame number should start with 86 not 84, you might want to check that.
Does the tranny still have the lock out linkage on the top plate for the 4x4 lever? Also, if the truck still has the inner front axels in place would you be interested in selling the set in the bed?
When you get it home feel free to give me a call and please send more pictures.

Hello,

Started to dismantle the VC3 for a complete rebuild. The tranny still has the lock out linkage on the top plate but the 4X4 shift lever is gone, who knows where i can find one ? or has one for sale?
Also looking for a pair correct headlights and pics of the longitudinal seat hardware in the back, does anyone repro the hardware? ( is it the same as in the 1/2 tons ?)

Thanks for the info

Hi Eric
Love the pictures. looks like you got a good truck to start with.
My running boards are just like yours, wore through at the bumps.
