VCs given away at auction today

Post by Ernie Baals »

Hi all
Gordon I am shocked
At the Chet Kraus auation today the VCs were all but given away
All restored trucks in solid #2 condition, all correct wheels, nnew canvas, running etc
VC1 $5000.
VC1 $7500
VC3 $6000
VC5 $7000
VC6 $15000
And the Ford Marmon Herringiton open cab 4x4 pick up $9000

The worst part. i did not bother to register as i thought the prices would be higher
Ow well
Rumor has it that the carryall and open cab are headed your way.

Well I'll be glad to see them, but you probably mean Europe rather than Scotland as I'm poor, as usual.
No title is no problem. You do need to get a titling company to tile them before shipment, that's all, $200 or so.

The last time I had to get anything titled it took just three weeks.

Any of the shipping companies can arrange storage for this stuff, Dollar a day or whatever. A truck that is 70 years old will not object to waiting three months for a title and customs clearance
