here is mine...wc-51 ser.# 81537301 cowl tag # 4290 4178 truck had a big tag with ser. # on it. also a MOT.No 289 099 do not know if it is norway tag or not.some of spelling is this so someone tell ok. line 1 is. Herstelier des Fahrgestells.below this is Constructeur du chassis with Dodge on side. below that is Chassis No which is 81537301 next to this is Mot.No 280 099. no other tags. truck was sitting next to memphis belle in late 90,s in memphis tn. you can see there website and look at pics. of bomber and you will spot it. rust free truck with high seats, early plastic steering wheel, small gas mouth. i am thinking it was built mid may 42 is this possible.there was no frame reinforcements from a wc55 truck that i saw.

Hello,
Thank you for your information, you have been added to my database. I believe it was manufactured in mid-September 1942 and should have a hood number between 291910 and 291992 with USA as a prefix. Be sure and order a build card to know for sure!

Ernie,
I does appear to be a rebuilt 55 with the gun chassis removed. Look for extra bracing in the frame to know for sure
your full body tag number is: 4286-9404, if it was a true 52 it would have been:4290-9404
