New Optima battery
It was time for a new battery in my 1/2 ton Command Car. I have been hearing a lot on the Optima batteries. I have had a lot of trouble with the standard 6 volt battery leaking acid all over the place. This battery will not do that and boy does it crank that engine so much better. It's real small also, only about 6 inches wide. There are some people selling Optimas with a false cover to make it look correct but they are going for $300. On my Command Car you can't see the battery and it only costs me $100..It's something worth looking into.
Great
Yeah, I put an Optima in my wife's Grand Cherokee about 5 years ago, and even though the kids run it down by leaving the dome lights on, it keeps coming back.....

I've heard many prasies about the Optima batteries, however, I take it all with a grain of salt. The only time I've EVER had battery issues was when I spent big bucks for named brand junk. Hell, I've even had the same batteries in my key fob for the last 5 years.
