Radios on WC-62/63's
Does anyone have any pictures, links, or reference to a Signal Corps radio set (BC-1306, 1000, etc.) ever being installed on a WC-62/63 during WWII? I have the reference for all of the sets used on the WC-51/52 series. Paul

Most likley the sets would have been the same. If the US were anything like the British the WC vehicles were used at regimental and battalion HQ level. Reason is quite simple, they are bigger and can carry the larger long range sets, more importantly the batteries that power them and the charging, generator sets. You would then have the ariels and masts, including 94 foot and 180 foot wires ariels. All to do what a mobile phone does nowadays
