One, or two?
It's a safety call.
OEM had 3 choices of attachment, two for Closed Cab (1st-2nd Series) and Open Cab (one method of attachment). 5" Round Mirror was standard to all three.

Re: CCKW OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS
My reference of TM10-1500 that covers the 1941 trucks list only ONE mirror.

What are the other two OEM locations?
I've been saying for a while now (and providing TM cites) that CCKWs came off the production line with ONE mirror.
The only thing to change on closed cab trucks is the the mirror moved from the door (early civy based cabs) to the cowl (military standardized cabs).

Re: CCKW OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS
That is correct, but some of the best CCKW restorations now have dual mirrors-a wise safety feature.

Re: CCKW OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS
Didn't the close cabs have a review mirror on the inside and the open cabs did not?

Re: CCKW OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRRORS
Both the Closed Cab and the Open Cab had provision for and were equipped with Inside Rear View Mirror. The inside brackets are very difficult to locate and different from civilian cab versions, the civilian closed cab brackets do not match the holes in the GI header.
