ATC
I know the "ATC" stands for Army Training Center, but I am stumped on the "ALSD" marking -- anyone know which ATC this was? Nice gams.......

ATC Air Transport Command, the WC was assigned to an Alaskan Air Command unit in the Yukon and the photo was probably in the summer.
Note the terrain in the rear.
I am a serious Army Air Force Historian, also, and collect WWII AAF Ground handling Equipment and Bomb Loading accessories to go with my CCKW.

Hmmm, I better get busy so I can equal my Dad's rank when he got out of the army. You have it listed as Master Sgt. He used to call it a Big Shot Sgt (among other names ). However, while I served, I was always called a General, as in general pain in the ass.

Glad to know what my ranks realy means.

carryall photo
The photo of the carryall was taken here at Whitehorse airport.Recognize the view as i work at the airport and have lived here since 1954.There were a lot of carryalls used on the Alcan and Canol projects probably because they were a bit warmer than many army vehicles.I have a WC-53 in the Transportation Museum on display.Enjoyed the photo as i am always interested in seeing photos taken in the Yukon during the war.
