finally got hold of a 9-2800 1943
I see what you mean in the back of the book, the k-42.
could very well be a typo.
the nominclature list on page 542 leavs somthing to be desired.
however it did help on figuring out the K-41 trailer.
(4 ton 2 axil).
I guess my next move is to break down and get the 1947 version,
and see what it has to say.

I think thats a IH model number, like the "M" series, which would make sense. of course it begs the question whats an "L" series look like?
a signal corps K7 would be a WWI vehicle.
I found the first 11 K-numbers in the 1920 signal corps storage catalog.
but still havent found a picture of scr-105 van/liberty truck.
yould think thayd have a shot of one in the 1918 ord cat.
