For good information on the US6, try the MVPA for back isues of Clell Ballard's superb 6 part series on this truck. There are pictures published of the open cab version and if memory serves about 1800 or so were produced. Since these were predominately lend-lease, they went overseas and the Russions did not want them and they went back to making closed cab versions.
