OPEN CAB STUDEBAKER

Post by RANGER »

Am going to assume that the Studebaker US-6 was as difficult to see out of as was the Open Cab CCKW. The two trucks share much of the cab sheetmetal.

I had the pleasure of driving my US6 last year AND yes it was hard to see out of!!! I felt like I needed some extra height from the seat cushion!! Hard to turn too!!

The open cab US6 is rare to non-existent. They only made a very few at the first of the production run and then the rest of them were closed cab models. I am a huge fan of the US6---- no offense Ranger!! I know you like the CCKW!!! Not many US6s left here in the USA though!!
