Looking for transport on a K38 trailer

Post by FISCH »

All, just purchased a K38 Linemans Trailer on eBay.

I need to get it from Auburn, California to just outside of Dayton, Ohio.

The length is 78 inches (6 ft 6 in) width is 36 inches (3 ft ** TM 9-2800 1943 indicates body width is 20 inches it does not give overall so I asked seller who stated 36 inches... figure 36 to 40 inches for safety). Height is 42 inches (3 ft 6 inches) and weight according to TM is 410 lbs.

I looked at uShip and "ouch" on the guesstimate so I am looking for friendlier prices.

Thanks

Look up Third Party Logistics on Fastenal's website. The shipment goes from Fastenal store to store, needs to be palleted, and can be insured if you build a crate around it. You do the quote on-line and they are back with you in a day with a quote which is good for 30 days. I've used them a few times in the last few years and have had great results.
Nothing to see here, just move along...
