(FOUND!) dodge 1/2 ton drivers door glass metal surround

thanks all.....need the upper window glass surround for the drivers side window on a 1941 WC 1/2 ton closed cab truck.

this is the metal surround on the top of the glass pane.
anyone have one?

Don't have one here at all, but the top section you are looking for should be the same on drivers or passengers side, if that helps ?

The bottom rails are NOT the same, but the top bit should be.

Now... do you know if the 1/2 ton trucks and 3/4 ton trucks glass surround interchange?

that would open up my options quite a bit.

That would be yes and no.

3/4 ton Carryall surround would work, but the much more common 3/4 ton ambulance ones are set up for vent window, so they wouldn't.

I suppose if you got a pair of ambulance ones you could cut and graft to get what you need tho'

There were 1.5 ton militarised civilian WF trucks too, but never had eyes on one of them to see if they have surrounds - if they did, they would fit.

Got one from VPW. Couple years ago. It did need modifying to fit. There was one mentioned here several years ago from someone in Europe but didn't follow up on it.
