Looking for rear 1/2 ton command car doors?

I do have 3 original rear passenger doors that I don't know what to do with? It won't let me post a picture on here! The plastic is dried up and cracked. But the hardware is good!

I will be at Tower Park Friday the 20th September!

See you there Russ and I will be in the field hopefully next to each other. i will have a few parts for sale. 2 3/4 fuel tanks, carryall parts and some ambulance. should also have,a decent closed cab windhield also with brass ring. On command car note i may get one. there is one available locally i may get

Hey John, I somehow missed you at Tower Park. Russ and I put our heads together on the door project, and it's moving forward, hardware first. I'm going to make 8 sets, hope to show some progress by the spring meet.

I think there's 5 or 6 sets spoken for. Nothing is firm besides me and Russ getting a set each. There has been interest here, and that is what I am basing the quantity on. However I don't want to get ahead of ourselves until we have something to show, not to mention a price. I am hoping that by April I will be able to do that, and for the lack of anything else, this thread will act as the list.

Tim, I will try to get these NOS doors a friend of mine owns and send you photos of them. He says they are NOS, but I do not know. not seen them in person.

Yes I would love to see photos of the doors, and if possible determine if the hinge castings are cast iron or brass. I have found both. A magnet will tell.

Guys, just spoke to my friend. These are from a 3/4 ton
Command car and are in rough shape So no help there.

We have progress gentlemen. Right now I'm figuring out the photo thing. This is the one NOS door I have.

These are the first rough casting to come back from the foundry. I think they'll clean up nicely.

WOW! that's AWESOME! Its 37 degrees outside on this fine Saturday. I'd love to drive my Command Car today but without doors I don't think I will even bother! WISH I had doors!!!
