Looking for rear 1/2 ton command car doors?
I know these are hard to find, but I'm still looking for rear canvas doors for the 1/2 Ton command car. Either the frames or the whole doors. And Looking. And looking! lol! I know its pointless in asking, but you never know...

If you have a lot of spare cash Beach Wood Canvas
Will make a new door complete. The last time I got a
Quote is was $900 per door.

Save your money
This what you do most of the time with CC doors.
Unless you plan on doing a lot of cold weather driving.

lol... I would love to be able to drive my WC25 in the winter! I really would, but without doors I can't! Anti biotics are just to expensive! lol... And yeah, I know I can get them for $900 a door at Beachwood. I would love to pay the money, its just that $4,000 is ALOT of money for 4 canvas doors!!! If only Walmart would make them...

Tim up in Carson City (timsresort) wants to borrow my ratty old doors and make a run of them. I probably will get them to him at Fall Tower Park. I move slow. Maybe start a list to see how many are interested. That's where it stands now, in the "thinking about it" stage. Russ

I'll be in for 2 sets if the price is semi-reasonable.

Re: Looking for rear 1/2 ton command car doors?
As Russ stated, we're in the talking stage of possibly producing around 8 sets. The original idea was that everyone that had a 1/2 ton at the Dodge showcase in 2011 was looking for doors, and I think they could be made for less. So the first order of business will be the castings, and I have a line on that. Everything else is doable; canvas, snaps, frame, etc. I am considering making a set for myself that would be non-stock, i.e. bigger windows that could be unzipped like a Jeep.
Thanks for your interest, as I see it we have me, Russ, Cappy, Leonard, John, that's 5 sets for now. If any of you guys are at the fall meet, Russ will have his old set and I will have my 1 NOS door to look at. I'm not sure about the price, but the point is to keep it inexpensive (much less than Dan's arm and a leg), because as far as I can tell, none of us are made of money.

Re: Looking for rear 1/2 ton command car doors?
I'm headed for Tower Park next week to get together with Tim and drop off my set of CC doors. Stop by and visit if you can make it to the show. We'll iron out the details and get some idea of how long and maybe a ballpark figure on cost. I'm bringing up a WC 27 I picked up last month because its still loaded on the trailer. The body is really bad but the interior is surprisingly intact and complete. Hope to see ya there. Russ Rice
