CCKW BATTERY
If your truck has the Battery Box with the wide side toward the chassis, and you are a "purist" todays' equivalent of the original Delco battery is Delco 717A, it is a group 4 commercial battery. These average about 10 years life expectancy in a CCKW with a well maintained electrical system.
