Blackout driving light wiring

Post by andy »

I have a question on the wiring for the blackout driving light wiring. There is a grounding wire in the bucket and a live wire thu the back, where does the ground wire hook to? Thanks Andy

It should have a spot inside for the ground wire. inside the light housing. Good luck, Bill.

Thanks Bill, yes I see the ground wire mounted to the housing itself, but where do I screw it to? Thanks Andy

one end is riveted to the bucket, the other end is screwed to a tab on the light retaining ring. so it grounds the outside of the sockett.
