Up to the mid Eighties the GM-2190551 Generator and Water Pump drive belt was still available thru GM Dealers, I bought about a dozen over a preiod of years to send to serious CCKW collectors. They were unique as they had the 1940s Oval GMC Logo embossed on the surface. I only have the one that is installed on my engine, and wish I had kept one for display. There are 1950s dated Army Issue Goodyears new in the box available, but those do not have the GMC Logo.
When one improvises installs an alternator, and home made brackets, much authenticity is lost in the CCKW engine compartment.
