Ranger may chime in with the differences black/red/early/late/pos/neg. I would be interested in a the 40 amp neg. for a '42. :D Andy

I too would be interested in several copies of the "40 amp neg.grd"
For what it's worth my originals have a red background ( delco-remy w/pointed end case ) as opposed to the replacement square cased Delco's ( which have a black data plate ) on all my in stock versions.

Thanks

The 5628 CCKW 25 Amp Pos Ground was black as I remember, can look and see if I have one on the shelf to look at. also I do have 12 V red somewhere. Late Delco w/4 screws was Factory installed starting late 43, and did replace earlier 2 bolt. MY NOS early 2 bolt 40 Amp Neg Ground has black Data plate, as seen in some of my photos.
Not a good idea to be taking covers off perfectly good regulators, as NOS is scarce should the urge to tinker be overpowering.

Mine are 3-1/2 inches center to center across and 2-1/32 inches center to center up and down. Can you send pics, do you stamp them, and do you have the two correct number font sizes? Andy
