BEFORE YOU WADE IN YOUR CCKW

Post by RANGER »

Think twice, as yours may have the Hydrovac Breather located down on the frame rail just to the rear of the booster. Water is not good for your hydrovac.

Maintenance procedures call for servicing wheel bearings and gear boxes ASAP after fording.

The Timken Axled CCKW has Felt Inner Wheel seals, it is a good idea to lightly oil the felt seals when installing them.
