Spare parts Chevy 1 1/2

I was reading the TM for 1 1/2 ton Chevys and it said spare parts were kept under the dash above the fire extinguiser. Does anyone know how? Do the go in a box, bag, ?????

There is a steel box that mounts under the glove box to hold the spare parts. It has a drawer that is held closed by a clip on each side.
