Pictures of my 1942 International M3 Crash Truck

Post by gmcjimmy1944 »

Here are a few pic's of my 1942 IHC M3 Crash Truck. I got it from a fire department in NY who had it in service since 1946. Runs like a champ.

You did very well!!! Looks very good. I just sold my 2 because of downsizing the fleet here. You have the correct hose reels and wand on the hose. Looks like the tank might have been replaced, but they do rust from the inside out. This is also the only military truck I drove that even the girls would give me the "thumbs up" as the passed!
I have several photos of them in action. I was a Crashcrewman in the Marines till I retired, and at the re-unions the WWII Marines would give me photos.
By the way, your truck is called a FFN-3, not a M3.

No idea. Did you post links to them as that's usually how it works.

It would look nice in green - I take it those aluminium plate items have been added? It looks very nice apart from those shiny bits.
