Re: Specialized Miltiary Horse Support Vehicles/Wagons
By the way, noting that I hold "technicians" grade here, I recently updated a SMH thread depicting what I thought to be an interesting appearing set of Technicians chevrons. I'm not that familiar with the chevrons for that class of em, but others here may also find that of interest.

Re: Specialized Miltiary Horse Support Vehicles/Wagons
I have an engineer field manual dated 1912
that has a mess of information in it,
lots of mule and wagon stuff
its in pockett book format so you need a magnifying glass to read it
if you can get a copy on interlibrary loan from lib. of cong.
it would be well worth the trouble.
proffessional papers no.29 of the corps of eng. u.s. army
engineer field manual
parts I-VI
fourth eddidion w. addenda
gov. printing office.
1912
war dept document no.355
Brig. gen. A. mackenzie
chief of engineers
