Board-wide Policies
This document is designed to clarify various responsibilities of community members here at forum.ww2dodge.com. Please read it and become familiar with it.
  1. Forum rules
    1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.
    2. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated.
    3. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general, international audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.
    4. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permision will receive a warning and their post will be removed.
    5. Members should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline () image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed.
    6. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small or coloured text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
    7. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", etc.

Looks fine to me

You all know there has been a lot of spam about recently and we don't really need it.

I've suggested to bert that he deletes anything he sees as inappropriate as soon as he sees it, and I'll do the same.

Now - on with our regular programming.... 8#)

Pictures, Read me first!

Pictures / Attachments

Please do NOT post/add pictures larger than 600x600 pixels.
  • * It will mess up the layout of the forum
    * Costs too much of my diskspace and bandwidth. (non of those are cheap)
    * Larger than 600 will not fit on everyone's screen.
Oversized pictures will be removed. If your lucky I'll resize them for you. You can use any program to resize pictures. Windows Paint, Photoshop or The GIMP (it's free).

Just felt that this should be highlighted again. The normal moderation action would be a temporary ban, followed by a permanent ban, should there be a re-occurrence.

Yet again I've had to delete thread content as I found it too negative ( personal opinion I'll admit )

In light of recent events perhaps I need a more structured approach to this, so anyone posting on the main forum or sending PM's contrary to any of the rules is liable to an initial one week ban without any notice what so ever.

After that week, a reoccurrence will earn a one month ban ....

After the one month ban, another transgression ( in my opinion ) will earn a permanent ban.
