Post by Andersun »

Anyone have the correct Dodge CC part number for a 3/4 ton open cab (WC 51,52,56,57) vacuum wiper motor?
Thank you

CC-927970, Ordnance # 500844, Trico S-583-1, Willys 663636, same motor is also used on CCKW Open Cab, Willys MB, CJ-2A. Dodge M-37 uses the same part number, only difference is that they have "US Property" or US Ordnance" embossed in the tin cover behind the handle on the M-37.
I used to order these from my Chrysler products dealer and also from Jeep until they were deleted from the system in the early 70s.
NOS are extremely hard to find due to the popularity of the vehicles that use them.
There is a Trico Specialist by the name of Ficken, or "Wiper Man" that will suply these built up with NOS parts and a 1 year guarantee for approximately $125.00 ea., which is a very good buy.
Most of the real Surplus Truck Parts Dealers have been out of these since the early eighties. Memphis Equipment is also out. I purchased all that were left when Transportation Parts closed in the eighties, they made good trading material while they lasted.
