The US Army had a batch of several thousand T-214/T-223 Engine assemblies manufactured in 1968 using M-37 era long blocks. They had the latest 230 cu. in. updates with 6 Volt accessories. The blocks were stamped either T-214, or T-223. The Cylinder Head had an electrical temperature guage sender, and had to be drilled out and tapped 1/2" I.P.S. in order to retrofit the mechanical temperature guage They were complete from fan to fly wheel The Air Cleaner, and Clutch Assembly were boxes separately ind included in the crate. They were equipped with the late Carter Carburetor as used on the M-37. These started appearing as surplus in 1975.
They have all but disappeared by now. I have two left, as spares for any nide WC that may come my way.
