Was wondering if there is anything I should know before I tackle doing this job on the WC 51.
It looks straight forward, but that is where the trouble lies--being simple. Any words of wisdom would be of great help.
Thanks in advance!!

Parking brake
Need to replace assembly--"pads"--so I can have a working parking brake. From what I have seen during inspections, all looks good with the exception of the pads/braking materials.
Can't keep parking the WC in gear instead of using the parking brake
Thanks.

The Parking Brake Band on WWII 1/2 Ton and 3/4Ton WC is the same as on the M-37.
My secret source of wisdom comes from TMs.
The adjustment on the band is not always as straight forward as the instructions in the manual. It goes much easier when installing a NOS band, sometimes relined bands are not concentric to the drum.

WC parking brake
Have learned to live by the TMs on the WC as I work on it.
Plan to use brake band from either MId West or Vintage. Any recommendations?
