WC62 troop seats

Post by Mike Haines »

Hi everyone,

I'm about to start the restoration of my WC62. It has the early all steel bed with somebody's idea of what the troop seats looked like, they are close but no cigar. Could someone provide me with dimensions and or drawings of the wood for the early troop seats? Good photos would help too.

Also, I need the measurements from the side and rear of the cargo compartment to the location of the access plate on the floor for the fuel tank sending unit. They replaced the wood floor but left the access hole out and my sending unit is not working.

I'm still trying to get a title for this truck, the anal retentive state of Ohio BMV refused my request so now its up to the local common pleas court. If I fail to get a title, I'll probabaly sell the truck and try to find a WC51/52 in similar condition, but with a title, to replace it.

Thanks,
Mike Haines

Mike:

In the US, you can go thru services like Broadway Title. You basically sell them your truck and they sell it back to you with a title.
