Mystery Solved!!!
Howdy:
FINALLY, after all these years, I now know what all components I have in my drive train. The missing knowledge was my T Case. Here is the final rundown (I know all you purist will cringe ). The Beast's power plant is a 318 Poly V8, with a NP 540 transmission and a divorced NP 201 T case. It has the stock 3/4 ton axles, but with 4:89 gears. It also has aircraft type (tube) shock absorbers, and dual exhaust (which I plan to put headers on). Oh yeah, it also has working ac (besides opening all the windows) . I can now finally take care of all them nesty little leaks & get my 4WD working correctly! LET THE ADVENTURE CONTINUE!
