Hi What size hub/wrench/socket do i need for the back axle on my '44 WC51 to get the inner oil seal out?

Since the nut is octagonal, a standard socket will not work. Most auto parts stores have the correct wrench available for sale. It will not be cheap - $20.00 or more the last time I had to buy one. It should fit a nut that is 2-1/2 inches across the flats. It is a loose fit as you do not need to tighten the nut very tightly.
