230: What parts are still made for this engine? Any? What parts will I have to scrounge for? Everything? What drop-in engine would be a later upgrade?
Thanks!

Many parts are available thru NAPA, though definitely NOT all! I have found that going thru the specialty suppliers to be infinitely less frustrating (not because they're super-awsome, but more because the local parts help sucks) and very often cheaper, including shipping.
For instance, the NAPA tune-up kit for my carburetor (230 engine) is #2-5066A on the box, and the new fuel pump (with glass bowl) is #M-2090 on the box.
Now, these came with a box of parts for my truck; I didn't buy them, so they may have different numbers or may not even be available.
But the Chrysler 230 Flathead was and is used in cars, trucks, welders, compressors, pumps, small tractors, and etc., so parts are out there.
