I am considering have a batch of correct, forged u bolts made for 3/4 tons. I dont know of anyone selling the correct type. Do you guys know of any suppliers with a ton of NOS they are selling? If they are out there I don't want make the investment in a batch of new ones and flood the market.
They will be made in the US

Re: U bolt question
My next question is lengths. my only 3/4 ton samples from a WC53 are 8.125" for the front drivers side and 8.625" for front passenger side and both rears. The measurements taken from inside the U. I think all 3/4 tons would be the same but if some of you could measure would be helpful. Or if someone has the parts description page they could load that should have the lengths
Thanks, Steve
Thanks, Steve

Re: U bolt question
I got the same measurements on my WC53; 8-1/8 left front. 8-5/8 for the others. Threads are 2-1/2 long.
