who is Nairb Nosmis and whats his problem

Post by RBranche »

Seems every time my son post's something on facebook regarding my ambulance, this clown has to pick it apart, criticizing every little detail. Whats worse is he is now bashing Rick Larsen who I found very helpful and does quality work. I did not build this to be 100% authentic, just wanted something to look the part and have fun with. I hope not all MV enthusiast's are like this but if so and you all want something 100%, I'll put it out in the field, riddle it with my Russian M44 and then blow it up so it looks like it got hit by a German 88, maybe then it will be original enough!

Brian Simson.

Brian as everyone knows can be difficult to deal with. He's not a bad guy, just a tad socially challenged. Take him with a double grain of salt and move on. There are tons of us out there that respect your truck as it is.

That's my take on him... I like the "double dose of salt"... lol... He actually is very knowledgeable though pedantic and opinionated. And I do know he does read posts here, so... Hi Nairb!

Hi Ron,

When Brian was a member here he used the username "divingrocks". He was a prolific poster and it wouldn't take you long to find a lot of his posts. One of his lasting contributions to the Dodge Forum is the "WW11 Dodge links and database" at the top of this page.

I met Brian a few times and he was very pleasant in person, a bit of an enigma to his online personality!

Ah yes I remember "divingrocks". He was compiling serial numbers and hood numbers. So I posted the numbers my early WC-3 has which is a 5 digit hood number, he told me I was wrong and added one more digit to the hood number. My thought was how accurate is that going to be for someone doing some research? At that point everything else is suspect. lol!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words,

I had a feeling this guy was some sort of wack job. Being the new kid on the block, he apparently feels he needs to play the part of the bully. You would think after offending several people he would get the message to back off and shut up if he can't offer anything positive.

G,Day Ron . If this wanker is Diving Rocks . Do as John said . {Take him with a double table spoon of salts} . HE PROBABLY SPENT TO MUCH TIME IN THE PHILLOPENO SUN . FRIED HIS LITTLE BRAIN . Most people are glad to see ww2 vehicles .No matter what .If you are happy with it .Thats all that counts . My wc54 will not be 100 % , but no one other than me will know . So just tell him to blow it out his arse . My 3 cent worth . Ray

Hahaha...I thought I was the only one who thought what's wrong with that guy?

Every second post from him is "wrong search lamp"...

But I must say, I asked him then some other questions and he was helpfull and I've got good answers from him. Social media can be very strange. The people are often different to the normal live or you can understand many words very wrong. Don't eat all so hot as it is...my 50 cent.

At first, he hated my guts, and I despised his; however in the end, I have to thank ol' Mr Divingrocks because his "you can't do that, it'll never work, your dreams are hopeless and impossible" comments stuck like glue and the only thought for the past nearly 6 years has been "effing watch me". I think his opinion of me turned around after he realized that I was pretty serious about what I was doing and not just the average "Bubba" as he called me. He has some good tech, really does care about the history of the trucks, but yes, can be an abrasive online individual, I had to cut him loose from Face-space after he literally insulted my grandmother.
