Wheel studs?
I understand that my 41 wc9 can wear dauls. Thats not much different. But before i start the tear down for new wheel cylinders and pads. The studs are clearly marked L and R? I assume left and right? The driver side front is marked R. The driver side rear is marked L. The passenger side is reversed. Whats the deal here? I checked TM 10-1123/1443 and couldnt find anything. Any help i would be greatfully appreciate. Thank you.

Re: Wheel studs?
Hi Wardog,
what Ray is trying to say is Left hand threads on the drivers side (Left side) and right hand threads on the passenger side (Right side) as Ray suggests "someone" has mixed up the hubs at some stage.
Cheers

Re: Wheel studs?
I had a similar issue; my passenger side rear had left hand threads, all the others were right hand.. I chose to change them to right hand. It was a simple matter of driving the studs out of the hub. Whoever played musical hubs with my truck must have done it long ago, the hubs still had leather seals!

- My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.
Re: Wheel studs?
Best part with the hubs is, they are supposed to be balanced to and with the drums, and marked to allow proper realignment after disassembly...
