My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.

I received a rather rambling letter from the new publisher of PWA (who took over when Gordon passed) yesterday, explaining, sadly, that the print edition of PWA was going away, and any further PWA articles would be on the website. He stated that he would be converting existing subscriptions to the PWA online ones. His basic reasons were the usual ones- too much real employment, not enough time to devote to the magazine, and a dearth of articles(my term). I feel bad for him- he really seemed upset by the decision, but I find it quite understandable. I was in the middle of writing a long article to submit, as I have not had time in 6 years to continue my ongoing series about Old Henry's restoration, and figured he could break it into several issues... Not sure what to do with it now... May just finish it, and send it to him- maybe he'd chop it into chunks to cast out monthly on line, etc...

Just thought I'd pass along the info...

Hi Scott,
my apologies but can you clarify your comment "when Gordon passed"? I do hope you don't mean "our" Gordon from Falkirk in Scotland?......

NO! Sorry! Gordon Maney (IIRC) from Iowa who published VPW magazine for several decades... He was on here about 7 or 8 years ago, looking for article submissions..Very nice gent, from everything I have heard, and very knowledgeable about the species... He passed from complications of Lyme Disease if memory serves.

I hope so too ...

No, Gordon Maney was a great chap and sadly missed. :(

I have my own pile of PWA's at home.
