Tomorrow I will be taking my "whats left of my" fuel tank on my Dodge 1/2 ton WC-12 to my fabricator to reproduce the Gas Tank. He has already made a reproduction for my 1941 Dodge WC-26 Carryall and it is fantastic. He makes it out of larger gauge steel using the (old fittings from the original tank.) This keeps the cost to $400.00. I have pictures but this forum is not user friendly for that. If you need a tank let me know and the cost "he said" will drop. I believe this tank is the same for the VC and WC trucks series thru 1941.
(except for the Ambulances) I am not making anything on this project, I am just passing it along for everyones saving on a tank that is not commercial reproduced.......WAR EAGLE

I've been advised the gas tank for the VC series is not the same on the Dodge WC. So good luck for those who own the VC trucks. Posting pictures?
