My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.

Beachwood Canvas makes & sells them... Same ones fit the MB/GPW. That said, while I have seen a photo or two of them, I have my doubts about widespread use- If they needed to cover the headlights, it was just as easy to mix up some mud and apply it- as described in TM5-20 CAMOUFLAGE... The same would be used on windshield, and other shine areas. I have seen windshield covers used, but again, just as easy to fold a shelter half over it...

As said above, they were not used very often if at all. They look good on a MV so it's your choice if you want them or not. I always drive with my headlights on for safety so I never use the set I have. I have seen many original pics with the windshield cover being used especially on the jeeps.
