Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
I can just see a team of surveyors / Army Corps Engineers or DuPont Construction
supervisors utilizing your WC-26 . I don't know of any way to determine how
many 26's stayed in the Continental Untied States ? or how they were distributed,
maybe through the process of elimination ? . Sure would be cool to know the
history of your 26 . Kris

Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
Phil...this is Richard I bought the roof from you. What type of material did you use for the roof canvas. Some said I should use leatherette. But I found some canvas tarp material 6'x10' for $36.00. The weight was 12 oz.
Thanks for the roof.
Thanks for the roof.

Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
Hi Phil,
I note the last picture of the back of the rearmost seat, where there are 2 brackets bracing the seat to the rear door pillars.
I do not have an original rear seat for my WC 53' but suspect they would be the same. DO you have any dimensional details for these brackets and pictures of where they attach to the door pillars please?
Love your work.
Cheers Ian

Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
I am amazed at the quality of the builds and talents the members have. At the nationals in Louisville, will there be a swap meet? Im very new and green to the military vechical restoration. I really hope to see restored wc's up close. Are thier any vendors making repop sheet metal parts? I need a few and have had no luck. East Kentucky is not to good of a place to find military Dodges lol.
