Throttle pedal mounting

Post by MikeKB »

Can anyone post photo(s) of the throttle pedal on how it is affixed to the hinge and how it connects to the throttle linkage.
Mine was missing and although I got a replacement from VPW, I'm not sure how to mount it...
Thanks
Mike

Don't have any images Mike, but I thought it was two screws into the floor and a pin / split pin for the connection.

The military one is MUCH better than the civilian, which is two metal stud with ball ends, a ball end on the linkage, and a cast rubber pedal with three ball sockets, so the balls have to be forced into the sockets and then you have to persuade them to stay in. If your setup isn't obvious you may have mixed military and civilian parts which would be very confusing.

The pedal bolts on the hinge in 2 places. The top of the pedal has a connection for a cotter pin which connects the pedal to the linkage.

If you have a 1/2 ton, I have the ball studs in stock.
