1942 G506 governor

Post by BrianC »

WANTED
I am searching for the speed governor for my 235 cu.in. engine. This engine has the crankcase vent tube, not the positive ventilation. I think this is where the problem occurs as there are several different governors used with the positive ventilation system.
I believe that the correct governor for my truck is CV.3677076 / King Seely VE-5-161. If anyone has one of these governors or any information where I can locate one, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Mat, thanks for the information. I was aware of the VOV listing, but was unable to find any information about what applications that governor was used for .
