did Chev and GMC both make closed and open cabs?

All my photos of the Chev 1.5 ton 4X4 cargo & tractor unit versions show closed cabs with only the bomb truck having a canvas top. The bomb truck is more a flat faced cowl/windscreen unit with the cab area not having sides like the GMC open cab.

As said by MrRoo, only the bombtruck had an open cab. But there are some post war modifications known where they fitted GMC open cabs on the 4x4 Chevrolet chassis.
