I know the feeling. Your head gets messed up after going through the LIFE pictures for a couple of hours, looking for those elusive Dodge pictures....

I feel like its more of a hit- and miss thing more than anything as the search engine sucks....

Any idea the size of that gun in the last pic?

I think it is an 8-inch. There was also an175-mm "long tom" on the same chassis.

See'in all them jeeps in that one picture would make my friend go wacky, He has a '43 MB that needs a lot of work, but at least it still runs.

What I like was seeing all those stars off center and white paint all over. That was the way it really was.
