DUCKY NEEDS A DOCTOR
Been following a sick DUKW on one of the other OD Coloured truck sites, it is turning into a tinkerers delight. Sometimes MVs need real mechanics, the sooner, the better.
DUKWs are easier to fix than the CCKW, there are less tires to kick.

You need not concern yourself unduly Ranger - I understand some emminent doctors and specialists are already consulting on this patient's symptoms - I hope the medical staff realize that all the talking and pontificating in the world won't cure the patient - he/she needs an immediate operation to cure the ailment.

Let me just add that I always found my DUKW easier to work on than my GMC ....
More space, better layout, better organised, you can do pretty much everything inside and out of the rain, and with one person - the trickiest job was changing the brake hose connections through the hull.
Plus, of course, people REALLY get out your way when you are driving a DUKW
